well these posts about this didn't tell much about the game but perhaps it's better to check it out instead of just ignoring it due to lack of review

It's ok for a static game, other than my account dissapearing out of thier database 2 days ago.

Hello Every1..

I have been playing Lords of Evil for sometime...i Play on S3-CursedLand server... IGN Whiteknight

Its a web based mmo strategy game....with 3 races to choose from...
You can play it for free but if you pay you can get extra benefits....

The graphics looks cool...the overall web page structure is amazing as we get everything in one page.. no need to push any "back" buttons...

The server that I play on has helpful community... if you have any questions just shout and some1 will reply you ASAP

We get enough time to build defenses and pile resources when we start... but its better to join an alliance ASAP

The game has something called Magic Tool that provides you with competitive advantages over your enemies by empowering
you with the abilities to confuse enemy scouts, obtain additional enemy intelligences, and protect your castles.

There are certain similarities between dark throne and lords of evil...but there are big differences tooo...

Though there is character in Lords of evil (LOE) too but it is more focused on ur castle...where as dark throne (DT) is more focused on the character...

You can build more than one castle...in LOE at various locations depending on ur strategy..

Also in DT you buy armor and assign to various units.. but in LOE we dont have that.. we build barracks and produce various units...and for defense there are various defensive structures that you can build...u unlock each structure as we meet minimum requirements and lvl of each structure can be upgraded....

LOE is more like travian
and DT is more like mafia games with fantasy theme

why play web-based mmo, if there are f2p mmos out there.

Becuase the f2p games are of such an attrocious quality. Mostly becuase we should enjoy a game based on it's merits instead of judging them based on there genre specific stigma.
