Warhammer closing 40% of servers.. any word from Funcom? - Game|Gravity

Title says it all. Warhammer is closing 19 servers soon and allowing players on those servers to transfer to 6 medium population servers.

Its a dissapointment Im a true fan of the game, the franchise and the back story that goes with it. Im just hoping populations will grow again after the retail box dropps down to a second teir price level. God I hate you EA, I hate you to death.

this isnt a real shock to me since the game is quite typical and un-interesting for me. hehe. sorry about that warhammers fans.

but how can we explain why warhammer having some great hype rating is various sites. it doesnt add up. maybe they actually manipulated it.

Warhammer is a great game, however it's competing against WoW. It's hard for a fledging game with only 12 months of game life to compete with a monstrosity the size of WoW. People are complaining about the content (Im not sure why) available to Warhammer. WoW however just added another 10 to their cap, an ingenious torture mission that requires you to anal probe a dark elf and apparently stole everything that as awesome in Warhammer Online and rewrote there own pvp system without batting an eye lid.

warhammer is more of a wow clone, in my opinion.
