Blizzard Top Secret MMO - Game|Gravity

Diablo 3 has been announced, and there are still job listings for a new MMO On Blizzards website. Since we can rule out Diablo and Warcraft, does this mean we have a Starcraft MMO coming our way? I realize there has been some talk about this, but not since the Diablo 3 announcement.

I also so alot of people who say that Blizzard stated it would be a new IP. Does anyone have a link to the statement?

OMG starcraft MMO is a great idea!! i would love to play terran against protoss and zerg characters. i hope they do develop such projects.

diablo might be hard to incorporate into a competetive mmo rpg style playing as is shown by wow...but if they manage it, it'll probably be a massive hit =D

I think it makes most sense for Blizzard to launch a 4th franchise into the mix. They have the touch of midas right now, so it makes sense for them as a company to diversify their products as much as possible. A Starcraft MMO is possible, but it would undoubtedly cannibalize a non-zero percent of their Starcraft RTS crowd (on top of the Warcraft MMO crowd), and it simply doesn't make sense for a gorilla like Blizzard to do that.

So my money is on a completely new franchise unlike anything we've ever seen!

No matter what, though, it will be helllla sick...
