Just wondering who still plays this. I've been playing solidly for about a week and I have surpassed my first foray into the game. I'm finding it hard to get away from my desk.
Destruction is the underdog, and that's making general game play a lot more interesting. When you have an uphill battle it makes it worthwhile. Every battle is a battle to prove yourself, to crush the enemy and make them remember why they have to stack healers. I'm starting to build my rep, and the sense of personal pride is astounding. I don't think I've had this much fun in an MMO since my first EQ experience, but it's not wearing off. Every slain elf lying at my feet, the crushed bone of the puny umies and the shattered skulls of my dwarf opponents. So um.... is anyone out there still playing ? |

i played it for about 2-3 weeks before it became a bit boring to me. people were just plain retarted in the little battlegrounds and always seemed like the opposing team did know what to do. havent seen endgame in this game so i might have a clouded vision on this but i couldnt get myself to lvl up my shitty char

To be honest I was very excited when I first saw the game. I played until my mid 20's and then it got way too boring. When released there were some issues with graphics as well. I have a high end i7 PC with a new graphics card and it would still lag pretty badly.
In the end I guess it didn't live up to the hype. When will the next "WoW Killer" come out? Shrug, but I'm sure I'll be there trying it out. Toofliss |

I started about April of this year. I made a Rune Priest, at first it was fun but it got boring quickly. I was looking for something new since I was growing tired of WoW and a lot of friends had told me that Warhammer was fun. Boy were they wrong. The game is the same thing every level. You try to take over a zone, go from flag to castle. Capture it and hopefully roll something high to get really nice gear.
It was very repetitive. Although I did have fun playing this game, it's not something you can really commit yourself to. I would see this game as playing it casually. Although this is just my experience and my opinion, everyone experiences mmo's differently but these are just my two cents

I made the big mistake to buy the collector edition long time before release. I never opened it, because i got two weeks of free play for buying the pre-order box. I played the first two weeks after release. I think this game is/was just not done. Itīs imbalanced.... In PQ u just cant get any item as a healer, because u make no damage und thus get no points.

The comics which i read about warhammer appeared to be shallow and depicted useless scenes of slaughter(but amazingly fun to read)...Not too sure about the game, but i heard that it was too repetetive and became boring....
