As ps3 owner me self, im very excited about this game (im fine with X360 fans and ps3 haters BTW so go ahead and post)

The game has gotten good reviews from almost everywhere, except for 1 UP i think.

if anyone has played it already, post your experiences plz or make another thread about it

Yeah R2 means nothing. It dosn't really excite me either. I mean that must be like what the 3rd title to be released on PS3 :P

Same. I wanted to get one for Christmas, but my new computer was more expensive than expected.

I gots a new monitor coming, need one for design. So after that the ps3 and sing star is on my list. Maybe i'll consider somehting else but really singstar is about all sony can offer me atm.

I saw some interesting figures on what console usage was estimated at in 2008.

Not surprisingly the ps2 comes in first with a whopping 30+% the xBox 360 second with around 17 percent. What was surprising though is that the xbox came in third with around 11% and the playstation 3 came in 4th with a meagre 9%. This may look depressing but when you go further and see that the game cube (Remember the gamecube) came in at 7% making the ps3 look less and less worth while. i think sony was betting on blu-ray bringing it home. Unfortunately to many people just can't see the point in upgrading. in fact a large proportion of the population has only recently moved to dvd.

Don't bother arguing with me about these figures. So often I see flames about wich console is better etc. i don't presume to know if the ps3 or the xbox 360 is better. I do know however that the market trend's are leaning towards the gamecube and the ps2 is easily the most widely distributed console to date.
