Mods?

I'm curious.

As for now, we have several admins. People will be "hired", even
though at first it will be voluntarily, for filling the site's content.
Will there also be mods assigned to keep the forum nice and clean?
I mean, from experience i can say that it's good to always have
someone with editing/locking/moving skills around on the forum to
keep an eye out for spambots, trolls, etc. I don't know how this
works in vBulletin, but in phpbb we had mods with and mods without
banning power. Because i can understand that at this stage, the
bannings are up to the site owners and admins.

So ya, another suggestion ;]

We will have moderators of course. The reason their are so many mods now is because we are still working on the permission system integration with the main page. Only registered users and admins right now.

Yes there will be moderator in the forum, mods? There is zero mods in the forum you mean admin access

vBulletin isn't that much differant from phpbb. It wont take long to get this all ironed out.

I will be hanging around here alot more now that your using VB so if you need a moderator i have experience in that area.

G|G forums was Discuz. I didn't like it at all. Didn't propogate.

Yeah i didn't like it either it was quite poor in my opinion in design.

Im not so fond of vbulletin either. I miss the old classic Simple Machine Forum
