Default Games for Anger Management

Hello every1,

I was thinking can games be used as a tool for anger management?

What do you do when you are angry?

I have some options ->
1) Do you take out on who ever is in front of you? or
2) Do you sit in a corner cry? or
3) Do you things because you cant hit a human? or
4) Do you go and sleep? or
5) Do you go and play games?

Isnt it better to take out your anger on a virtual player rather than on a real person?

Isnt it better to slash an ugly looking creature with a katana than to slap your boss?

So what do you guys think.. Can games be used for anger management?

i personally use games for any kind of problem. not that it solves it, it just kind of gets the problem out of the way for the meanwhile..

and if games fail, that's when i go to sleep. i don't lash out at anyone when i'm angry. i tend to keep stuff to myself.

Yeah, games can be used form anger management. I mostly use fighting games, or games were you can attack many enemies at once. It feels great ^^

Anger management ussually involves a session of UT or maybe some TF2, I can't stand MMO's when Im aggro, lag always tips me over the edge. I also keep a boxing bag around the house for when the shit really hits the fan but ussually the odd fps will elt me take my mind of any issue.

Civ of any breed helps with anger. Nothing sooths the temper like a little genocide.

This is why you start drinking and bad becomes good, ugly becomes beautiful, and ya...(effects are temporary)
