My vision for the site design (hasn't been discussed with the rest of the team) is not to cover the site in the blue or orange or whatever color is picked like the current skin does. I love to design in grays, it makes the colors pop.

Anyway, I have more logos to choose from. When you vote, mention the number and any color combinations you want as I only have a few on this one and we could do so many more.

Like nr 15 out of those. But after looking at them all it looks kinda weird having the _VITY_ in that font. Looks like cursive when they all are melted together and no other parts of the "GAME GRA" is.

Blue is actually one of the most commonly used colours on the internet. For good reason. It's pleasing on the yee. Works with pastels or constrasts and is a commonly not 'hated' colour. Must be some sub conscious thing to do with the sky. People just simply, don't dislike blue.

However at the same time, blue is very common. Lacks real contrast or personality, is a very cool colour. Also someone said the layout and the design is good. Im not going to argue that point, its very neat and very clean however.

z. Can we please discuss making the layout fluid, this static layout kills me.

.y It's a standard theme, comes pre shipped with the backed so it's lacking personality.

x. and any designer worth his salt wont ask for a reason to do something. Becuase it can be done and Im here to do it is enough.

Personally though, I dont think orange is G|G. I' still associate it with the original beta blue theme. Steve wants variable skins anyway. So the chances are you can set a blue theme if you want, it's just going to be part of the project later down the line.

I disagree with the optional skins myself. i think a single identity for G|G is important and colour is possibly the bigest part of that. But it's all still in development. There is a time to make things happen. And a time to question whats going to happen next.

Right now, its time to make things happen.

yeah, i agree with you, that blue is well known in many sites and many like it. I've like G|G with the colors blue and white. Just want to know if theres other colors that we can all agree on other then blue, white, and orange.

I like both 4a/b and 13a/b cause they both add emphasis on Game. It's what this site is all about.

But if I had to choose one I will have to go 4a/b just cause I'm not really an orange person.
